Kayak
New Mexico 501(c)3 is pleased to announce corporate sponsorship from
The Hotel Cascada. Imagine being a child or young adult with a physical or developmental disability,
learning to kayak in a familiar, controlled (but exciting) environment,
like the 'lazy river,' or under the waterfalls, around the spray
features or any of the 26 water-play features. Imagine sliding down the
237ft enclosed waterslide or surfing on the "flow-rider" when they're
not kayaking in the pool. All of that will soon be possible.
Sign up for our mailing list today to be the first to know about upcoming "adaptive" opportunities at Hotel Cascada.

I just took Kelly's Intro to Kayaking class at the Chavez Center in Santa Fe and really enjoyed it. He was able to work with all levels (I'd never been in a kayak with the skirt on before) and even helped me overcome my fears after the initial freakout of being strapped to my boat underwater. Great teacher, I'm looking forward to the roll class!
Kelly is fun and enthousiastic about kayaking. If you're interested in learning to kayak, this is the place to be!
