Kayaking Adventure
Learn the basics of recreational kayaking in this 4-week introductory class at Sandia Lakes, followed by an optional field trip on the Rio Grande Bosque during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

"Discover Paddling" Every Wednesday at Sandia Lakes Recreation Area! Come join us for a variety of fun skills building games, socialization and practice. Ideal for NMKI students who want to practice or tune up, meet others or play fun games.
We especially invite families to join us during this time.
Kayaking for Tots is a fun way to learn about kayaking, while helping those in need throughout our community enjoy the Holiday Spirit. Join us on December 14th, at Los Altos Pool at 8pm. Bring your bathing suit and a new, unwrapped toy, valued at $5 - 15, and receive free admission; $13 otherwise to cover pool and equipment rental.
Our goal, through this and other events in December, is to fill a large kayak with new, unwrapped toys. On December 22, we will present our kayak-full-of-toys to to Toys for Tots and Noon Day Ministries, a meal provider for homeless men, women and children.
Advanced registration is requested.
New Mexico Kayak Instruction, a service provider at Camp Rising Sun, is pleased to offer another "Kayaking Pool Party" for all persons living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
